Greatly mourned, father, son, brother, and friend to many, David Marshall Seager, 55, died on Wed., Aug. 31, 2022 after being struck by a car in Southern California.
David was father to Michaella and Layla Seager, both of Southern California; son to Carol Seager of Worcester and the late Marc Seager (Barbara Montgomery Seager); sister to Deborah Seager (Chris Lopata) of New York City; and a relative and friend to many.
David was a fantastic cook, avid reader, music enthusiast, and lover of the visual arts. He was a steadfast recommender of books and music to friends and family. David enjoyed travel, from following the Grateful Dead to touring Kenya with his family. He trained as an addiction counsellor, in which he drew from his own substance abuse experiences to assist others.
Born in Floral Park, NY, David lived in Worcester for most of his childhood. He attended Doherty Memorial High School and graduated from the Arlington School in Belmont, MA. He attended college at UMass Lowell.
There will be a private service this Fall in Southern California, where David lived for the past 25 years.
