Katherine L. (Budo) Boria, 88, of Paxton, passed away peacefully on Palm Sunday, April 1, 2018 at UMass Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Katherine was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late George S. and Margarita (Saradaris) Budo. She graduated from Commerce High School. Katherine was the Treasurer of Deerhill Dairy Inc. working alongside her husband for 34 years before she retired in 1993. She delighted in assisting her daughters at their business, French Twist Boutique, for the past 9 years. Katherine was a member of St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church and its Women’s Guild. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Stella Chapter in Worcester. Katherine’s beloved husband of 51 years, George D. Boria passed away in 2002. She is survived by her three daughters with whom she lived, Carolyn A. Boria, Joan M. Boria and Roberta E. Boria all of Paxton; and, a niece, Paula (DiLiddo) Fox and her husband J. Russell Fox of West Boylston. She is predeceased by her two sisters, Helen Pando and Theodora Budo. A period of calling hours will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 5-8 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Trisagion Service at 5:30 pm. Her funeral service and burial will be held privately.
