Rose M. (Bronzo) Ricchuti, 103, of Worcester and Shrewsbury died peacefully Monday March 26, 2018 at her home in the Southgate Community of Shrewsbury. Her husband Gerald Ricchuti predeceased her. Rose is survived by many loving nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces, among them nephew Dennis and his wife Linda Bronzo who were her loving caretakers. She also leaves her sister in law Hazel Bronzo. She was predeceased by four brothers, Vito, Frank, Michael and Anthony Bronzo, and four sisters, Lena Trafacante, Minnie Trafacante, Mary Gerardi, and Anne Buduo. Rose was born in Boston daughter of the late Donato and Antoinette (Pierro) Bronzo and lived in Worcester many years before moving to Shrewsbury. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and attended Becker Junior College. Rose was the lead Administrative Assistant for the former Worcester Chrome Furniture Company for many years before she retired. Rose was a life member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann and was also a member of their Golden Years Club. She was also a long time member of the Worcester Lodge #168 Sons of Italy in America. Rose had a zest for life, and was always the life of the party, she loved to Dance, go shopping, and really enjoyed her winters in Hollywood and Boca Raton Florida. But her most treasured times were when she was with her family, especially her nieces and nephews, they were like her own children. She had a long and beautiful life and she will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Rose’s funeral will be held on Monday April 2, 2018 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in the Church of Our Lady of Loreto 33 Massasoit Rd. A calling hour will be held from 8:30AM to 10:30AM in the funeral home prior to leaving for Church. Entombment will be in St John’s Cemetery Mausoleum.
