Freddy A. Reyes, 54, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018, at Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Freddy is survived by his loving wife, Alexandra Moreno; a step-son, Miguel Veras; a step-daughter, Ashley Veras, all of Worcester; his mother, Daniela Reyes in the Dominican Republic; two sisters, Diomaris Reyes and Joselinne Reyes, also in the Dominican Republic; his mother in law, Migdalia Rodriguez of Worcester; aunts, uncles, many cousins, including Manuel Reyes of South Hadley; Brenda Reyes-Wascholl in Connecticut, and Yaritza Reyes of Holyoke. Freddy was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, son of the late, Antonio Reyes. He lived in the Dominican Republic for many years, and graduated high school there. He later moved to Perth Amboy, NJ, where he resided for ten years, before settling in Worcester in 2007. Freddy was a machine operator for Angelica Company, and enjoyed playing dominoes, dancing, and quality time with his family and friends. Calling Hours will be on Saturday, March 24, from 3 pm to 5 pm in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a prayer service at 5pm in the funeral home. He will be interred in the Dominican Republic.
