Lucille M. Johnson, 83, of Worcester, passed away in the comfort of her home on Sunday, March 18, 2018. Lucille is survived by two daughters, Joan Barnes, and Charmaine Johnson-Kissi and her husband Albert, all of Worcester; eleven grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by the sons, Carlos Johnson this past February 26, Eugene Johnson in July 1993, and Antonio Johnson in 1979. Lucille was born in Providence, daughter of the late Emanuel Wells and Beatrice (Johnson) Weeden; she grew up in Worcester and graduated from Commerce High School. Lucille worked for many years as a CNA with the Center for Living and Working, retiring in the mid 90’s; she had also been affiliated with the VNA. She was a member of the Quinsigamond Lodge of Elks Nakomis Temple number 36, I.B.P.O.E. of W. She enjoyed her family and was proud to have raised her grandson, Kalin Blount. She also enjoyed flea market shopping and attending shows at the Hanover Theatre with her granddaughter India. There is a Memorial for Lucille from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon on Saturday, March 24, in Emmanuel Baptist Church, 717 Main Street, Worcester.
