Lisa E. (Bullens) Madden, 63, of Spencer, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of forty-one years, Patrick Madden; a son, Domenico P. Madden of Spencer; four daughters, Antoinette M. Madden and Susan L. Madden, both of Spencer, Angela L. Madden and Brittany E. Madden both of Rhode Island; five grandchildren, including Darion Madden of Spencer, who she raised as her own son; a brother, John Nuzzolilo and a sister, Patricia A. Britt, both of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Carolyn Parker in March of 2017. Lisa was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Edward and Elizabeth (Nuzzolilo) Bullens. She graduated from Marian High School and Becker Junior College. She lived many years in Worcester before settling in Spencer in 1990. Lisa was a newspaper distributor with the Worcester Telegram for over twenty-seven years, serving over 400 clients in Leicester, Spencer, Barre, and Oakham. She retired in December due to her illness. Lisa lived for her family and believed that her children came first. She enjoyed playing BINGO and spending time with those she loved. There are no calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, March 1, at 11 a.m. in Saint Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike Road (Rte 9 East), Shrewsbury, MA.
