Paul E. Gaffney

Paul E. Gaffney, 48, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Paul is survived by his brother, Brian E. Gaffney and his wife Margaret M., and their three children, Neal, Sean, and Julia.  He was predeceased by his sister, Jane Hill in 2010.  Paul was born in Worcester, son of the late Howard E. and Marie F. (Belforti) Gaffney, and has lived here all his life. He graduated from Worcester Vocational High School and later worked for many years at Atlas Distributing.  He had been a member of the Teamsters and enjoyed fishing and motorcycles. Services for Paul will be held on Saturday, March 3, in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester; Calling Hours will be from 9 a.m. until the Funeral Service begins at 11 a.m. Donations in his memory may be made to Jeremiah’s Inn, 1059 Main Street, Worcester, MA 01603. <span style="font-size: 14.0pt; font-family: 'Times New Roman',serif;">
