Lucille A. (Castano) Langevin, 85 of Worcester, passed away peacefully in the comforts of her own home on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. Lucille was born and raised in Worcester, a daughter of the late Liberio and Catherine (Leone) Castano. She attended Worcester Public School and has lived here all her life. Lucille worked for the City of Worcester Public School Department as a cafeteria worker for 15 years before she retired in 1992. She previously worked at Memorial Hospital as a unit secretary for many years. Lucille was a member of St. Anne’s Church in Shrewsbury and the Red Hat Society. She loved needle point, bowling, cooking, baking cakes, and going to the beach especially in Maine. Lucille adored her family and they were her everything. Lucille is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, Richard P. Langevin, Sr.; her son, Richard P. Langevin, Jr. and his wife Mary of Victorville, CA; her daughter, Cheryl L. Beer and her husband Lawrence of Dobbs Ferry, NY; a sister, Catherine Prusaczyk of Worcester; three grandsons, Scott Beer and his wife Katie of RI., Matthew Beer and his wife Brittany of NY., and Andrew Langevin of CA; one great grandson, Cooper Stanley Beer; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister, Anna Dussault. Services for Lucille were held privately.
