Mary (Biscotti) Mazzilli

August 23, 1918 — January 27, 2018

  Mary (Biscotti) Mazzilli, 99, of Worcester died peacefully Saturday January 27, 2018 in the Beaumont Nursing Home surrounded by loved ones. Her husband Vincent “Jimmy” Mazzilli died in 2001, Mary is survived by her daughters Patricia Stanley and her husband Robert of Worcester, and Marilyn Leger and her husband Rene of Orange. her sister Angelina Halley of Worcester. Mary was also the proud grandmother to James Arsenault and his wife Donna, Michael Leger, and Ryan Leger and his wife Kia. She was the great grandmother to Kateri Forte and her husband Dan, and great great grandmother to Connor James Forte. She was predeceased by a grandson Daniel Arsenault, and her brothers Joseph, Michael, and Philip Biscotti.  Mary was born in Worcester daughter of the late Pasquale and Antoinette (Mascia) Biscotti and        lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, and Becker Junior College. Mary     worked at the Memorial Hospital in the Accounting Department for many years before she retired. She    was a life member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann. Mary loved watching TV and had an impressive amount of Hollywood knowledge about movies and actors, it was  amazing she knew who was married to who and their children! Mary loved to read and was most happy when she was singing!! She and Jimmy loved to travel. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.  Mary’s funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 31, 2018 at 11:00AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. A calling hour will be held from 10AM to 11AM prior to the service. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a charity of choice.
