Barbara A. Druskis

October 10, 1936 — December 24, 2017

Barbara A. Druskis, 81, of Worcester passed away December 24, 2017 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center with her loving family by her side. Her husband John J. Druskis passed away in November of 2001. Barbara was born in Worcester daughter of the late James H. and Elizabeth T. (Fagan) Keirstead and has lived in Worcester all her life and was a graduate of Commerce High School. She is survived by her three children, Mark J. Druskis of Worcester, Dawn M Druskis of Millbury and Kelly A. Abreu of Worcester; three grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She is predeceased by her two brothers, James H. and Richard P. Keirstead. Barbara’s funeral will be held on Saturday, December 30th at 10:00am in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.  Calling hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to her funeral service.  Barbara will be laid rest alongside her beloved husband in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  Those who wish to remember Barbara by a way of a memorial tribute are kindly asked to consider the Massachusetts Association for the Blind, Development Office; 200 Ivy Street Brookline, MA 02446.  To sign the online guestbook for Barbara, please visit: www.mercadantefuneral.com
