Beverly (Capalbo) Adua, 80, lifelong Worcester resident passed away peacefully Thursday December 21, 2017, in her home with her family there by her side. She joins in heaven her daughter Donna M. Johnson who passed away in 2011. Beverly was born in Worcester, daughter of Frank and Gladys (Erickson) Capalbo. Raised in Worcester she graduated from Venerini Academy, and married Richard W. Adua. Together they enjoyed the next 61 years in love, devotion and family. Beverly worked for Artic Refrigeration as a bookkeeper more than 14 years. She was previously in sales for the former Lerner Department Stores. Beverly is survived by her husband and best friend, Richard; her son, Richard W. Adua, Jr and his wife Debra of Madison, CT, son in law Richard P. Johnson, Jr. of Shrewsbury; grandchildren, Melissa, Matthew, Richard III, Sally, Jonathan and Rachel; a brother, Robert Capalbo and his wife Carol of Shrewsbury; sisters, Sharon Osper and her husband George in California, her sister-in-law, Lucy Moran, and very special friends Marcia Recko of Oakham, MA and Theresa Tumas of Virginia Beach, VA, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Her sister Janice Walsh and brother in law Tom Walsh both pre deceased her. Beverly was a simple woman with a deep devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren. She; loved to shop and dote on her grandchildren. Holidays for her were important and the happiest times in her life were those spent with her husband and family. She will be missed. The family would like to thank VNA of Worcester and Laura's Angels for their compassion and assistance in making a very difficult time a bit more tolerable due to the outstanding support and care given. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery.
