Leatrice (Lubin) Palley

November 16, 1930 — December 20, 2017

Leatrice Palley, 87, of Worcester, MA, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Jewish Healthcare Center surrounded by her family.  She was the loving wife of 60 years of the late Carlton L. Palley.  She is survived by her two sons, Gary Palley of Liverpool, NY and Warren Palley and his wife Jody of Southborough, MA, and two daughters, Lynn Palley and Dr. Lori Palley, both of Watertown, MA, three grandchildren, Joshua Palley and his wife Gina of Pittsford, NY,  Marissa Aron and her husband Daniel of New York City and Ross Palley of Boston, MA, and one great-grandchild.  She leaves two sisters, Carol Diamond and her husband Donald of Sarasota, FL and Harriet Malkin of Connecticut.  She is predeceased by her twin sister Janice Jacobson and grand-daughter Rebecca Palley. Leatrice was born in Worcester, MA. She was the daughter of Morris and Isabel (Schorr) Lubin and lived in Worcester all her life.  She graduated from Commerce High School.  She was a life member of the Jewish Healthcare Center, a member of the Congregation Beth Israel, and past member of the Beth Israel Sisterhood and Hadassah. A private grave-side service was held, Friday December 22, 2017 in B'nai Brith Cemetery, Worcester, MA.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Congregation Beth Israel, 15 Jamesbury Drive, Worcester, MA, the Jewish Healthcare Center, 629 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA, or charity of choice.  The Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with arrangements.   To leave a message of condolence please visit  Leatrice’s memorial at www.mercadantefuneral.com
