Annette M. (Sutherland) Chamberlain of Worcester passed away peacefully on December 20th 2017, after a brief battle with cancer. She was born, August 19, 1951, the daughter of the now deceased Paul J. and Anna (Ramzell) Sutherland. She was 66 years old. Annette is survived by her loving husband of 23 years Wayne Chamberlain; Two sons, Ryan Mancini and his wife Michelle Albano, Brett Mancini and his wife Diana; two sisters, Marie and her husband Michael Chizy, Eileen and her husband Robert Bersey; a brother, Michael P. Sutherland and his fiancé, Robin White; a sister in law, Melba Chamberlain; brother in law, Leigh and his wife Ellen Chamberlain; five amazing grandchildren, Annabella, Allie, Maximus, Deano, and Nina. Annette had numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins, and additional family members who adored her. Her friends, colleagues and clients have been amazing throughout this difficult time, notably Dan and Jennett Dorey who remained at her side till the very end. Annette was known for her quick wit and famous laugh. She was the absolute life of the party, capturing the hearts of everyone she encountered. Annette was a talented business woman who spent the last 30 years of her career working for Saint Gobain Performance Plastics in Worcester. She began her tenure as a customer service representative and worked her way through the ranks to National Accounts Manager. She was a seven time Presidents Club Member who loved gardening, antiquing, golfing and sports. Annette’s proudest accomplishments in life remained wife, mother and Mimi. All are welcome to celebrating her life at calling hours, Tuesday, December 26th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be celebrated Wednesday morning December 27th from the funeral home with a procession to St Mary Church, 640 Main St Shrewsbury, where her celebration of life Mass will be held at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in her name can be made to Why Me & Sherry’s House, 1152 Pleasant Street, Worcester 01602. The Chamberlain family would like to thank the Oncology and Hematology department staff at Umass Memorial University campus for how wonderfully they cared for Annette during her treatment and to the Rose Monahan Hospice Home Staff who supported her in the final days of her life.
