Kenneth C. Hull, 77 of Cherry Valley, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Tuesday, December 19, 2017, joining in heaven his two infant children Daniel and Tracy. Kenneth was born in Worcester on September 24th 1940, the son of Viola Hull. He graduated from North High School and earned his bachelor’s degree suma cum laude, attending night classes at Quinsigamond Community College. Kenneth also volunteered to serve his country in the U.S. Army during the early sixties. Upon discharge, Kenneth and Judith returned to Worcester where he accepted a position with The O.S. Walker Company, working over 30 years before retiring as head of maintenance. Kenneth is survived by the “Love of his life” and best friend for the past 55 years, Judith A. (LaMonda) Hull; his two devoted children, Deborah A. Brown and her husband Karl of Oxford, Timothy E. Hull and his wife Michelle of Atlanta; five grandchildren to which he found so much enjoyment; Mark, Marina, Tyler, Rebekah and Ryan and a great grandson, Connor. One of eight children, Kenneth is survived by six siblings, Katherine Zollo of Webster, Judy Sullivan of Shrewsbury, Jean “Spike” Hull of Dudley, Joanne Brote of Shrewsbury, Jane Tremblay of Brimfield, and Michael Hull of Worcester; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Besides his two infant children, a brother, John Contonio and his mother Viola also pre deceased him. Kenneth was a life member and 1st Vice Commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter #4 in Worcester. A member of the Friends of Treasure Valley and Explorer Scout attaining the highest honors the Silver award. Kenneth also volunteered assisting veterans with applying for services at the Veterans Center on Lincoln St. He was also an avid fly fisherman enjoying many hours of peaceful reflection on the streams of New England. Kenneth was also an accomplished woodworker able to make anything with wood in his garage workshop named “The Soaring Eagle.” With all he’s done with his life, Kenneth’s proudest moments were those spent with his family. They were his life’s inspiration and joy. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday, December 22nd from 9:30 am to 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. followed by his funeral service at 11:00 am. Burial with Military honors will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
