Aiflin Sabbagh Saadi

Aiflin Sabbagh Saadi, 88 of Worcester, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2017 at UMass Hospital. Aiflin is survived by three sons, Bachir Saadi and his wife Norma Zayto, Saad Saadi all of Millbury and Abdulmasih Isaac Saadi and his wife Naila of Texas; five daughters, Bashira Saadi and her husband Joseph Masri of Syria, Souad Saadi and her husband Fadi Beshara of Worcester, Elizabeth Sadi and her husband Hanna Yousef of Millbury, Nour Sadi and her husband Salim Beshara and Nabiha Sadi and her husband Hanna Issa all of Holland; four brothers, two sisters, eighteen grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.  Her husband, Deacon Isaac Saadi; her parents, Elias Sabbagh and Nabiha Marzib Althahab; three brothers and a sister all predeceased her. Services for Aiflin will be held on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Syriac Orthodox Church, 1 Industrial Dr., Shrewsbury.  Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester.  A period of calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 14th from 5-8 p.m. in the church.  MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: St Mary's Syriac Orthodox Church, 1 Industrial Dr., Shrewsbury, MA. 01545.
