Paul D. ”Bluto” Bayrouty, 55 of Somerset, passed away Wednesday October 18th 2017 while visiting in New Orleans. Paul was born in Worcester on August 29, 1962 to Robert M. and Joan M. (Dimitry) Bayrouty. He was raised in Grafton and graduated from Grafton High School. Paul then earned his college degree from Northeastern University in Boston. At the age of 24, Paul married his sweetheart Colleen Connor and began a life to raise their family in Fall River and later Ware Mass before moving to Somerset. In 2004, unexpectedly Colleen passed away leaving Paul with four small children. He valiantly raised his children providing a good life for them as a single parent with love and devotion, providing for them. He worked as an executive with the Winn Management Corporation and Equity Residential Management before accepting a position with Aegis Security where he worked many years before retiring. Paul’s wife of 18 years, Colleen passed away in December of 2004. He is survived by the four children he cherished, Brendan, Kaitlyn, Brittany, and Michael Bayrouty all of Somerset; five grandchildren, Jaeden, Jaevius, Kaebryn, McKenna and Lucas: nephews, nieces and extended family members. His only brother, John M. Bayrouty passed away in 2005. Paul was the head of his house devoted to his family. His children and grandchildren were the most important parts of his life. Their wellbeing was the inspiration in his life and dedicated it to them. His unwavering faith keep him grounded through life’s many challenges. Besides his family, Paul enjoyed Travel, football the Boston Red Sox and being with his friends and family. His memory will be eternal and live on. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 26th at 10:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial next to his wife Colleen and his parents will follow in Hope Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Wednesday, October 25th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the funeral home. The family request that flowers be omitted.
