Joan P. (Cashman) Hoynoski, 75, of Greenfield, MA, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017, at the Vernon Green Nursing Home in Vernon, Vermont. Joan is survived by a son, Carl Hoynoski, II, and his wife Jodi of Gill, MA; a brother, Kenneth P. Cashman; a niece Lisa Rehimi, both of Worcester; and her precious Golden Retriever, Maggie. Joan was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Patrick M. and Agnes R. (Tamulis) Cashman. She graduated from Ascension High School in Worcester. She has been living in the Greenfield area for over thirty-two years. Joan worked as a pharmacy tech for both Big Y and Stop & Shop Markets in Greenfield, for twenty years, before retiring in 2011. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Greenfield, and loved to be with her son, his wife, and most especially her Golden Retrievers. Calling Hours for Joan, will be held on Friday, October 13, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be on Saturday morning, from the funeral home, departing in procession, at 9:35 a.m., for a 10 a.m. Mass at Saint John’s Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
