After a courageous battle with cancer, Christopher A. Foley, 43, of Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home with his family on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Christopher was born in Worcester, graduated from Holy Name Central Catholic High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Westfield State University. Christopher was the owner of Foley’s Collision Center in Worcester where he successfully grew the business for the past 13 years until he became ill. He has lived in Shrewsbury for 12 years and was a member of St. Anne’s Church. To know Christopher was to love him. Chris was passionate about sports and family. Those two loves collided when he coached many of his children’s’ youth teams. His gregarious personality made it easy to laugh in his company. Whether it was on the golf course, at a family party or hanging out with friends; Chris was always the life of the party. He knew how to “light up a room” when he entered. He will be sorely missed by his family and the many friends he made throughout life. Christopher leaves behind his beloved wife of 16 years, Nicole K. (Quinn) Foley; their two children, Jack A. Foley and Caroline Q. Foley; his parents, Brian A.M. and Elaine M. (Haddad) Foley of Worcester; three brothers, William M. Foley, his wife Kristin and their children, Katie and Billy all of Westborough, Brian M. Foley, his wife Tracey and their children, Grace, Michaela and Lauren all of Shrewsbury and Michael D. Foley and his wife Laura of Dedham; his maternal grandmother, Adele (Rezuke) Haddad of Worcester; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert M. and Janet R. (Boyington) Quinn of Yarmouth Port; a brother-in-law, Michael R. Quinn, his wife Amy and their children, Ashley and Reagan all of Tampa, FL; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, William Haddad and paternal grandparents, William and Helen (Ahearn) Foley. Services for Christopher will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Saint Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury.
