Frank Mungo, 83, of Worcester passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 19, 2017 after a period of declining health. Frank was born in Worcester on June 1, 1934, a son of Agazio ‘Gus” and Maria (Aloise) Mungo. Raised in Worcester, Frank graduated from Commerce High School. He worked his entire life in the Photography Industry as a lithographer for various companies before retiring. Never married, frank remained home to care for his parents. He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members, including, his nephew Joseph Mungo whom he thought of as a son and best friend. A brother, Joseph N. Mungo, and two sisters, Rose Marie Caldwell and Mary Tarallo pre deceased him. Calling hour will be private for family members Wednesday, September 27th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., followed by a prayer service at 11 am. Burial in St John Cemetery will also be held privately.
