Francesco X Lopriore, Sr.

Francesco Xavier Lopriore, Sr., 67 of Plymouth, MA, formerly a resident of both Worcester and Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2017. Francesco was born in Worcester, the son to the late Giuseppe and Angelina (Montecalvo) Lopriore.  He graduated from Shrewsbury High School.  Francesco was the former owner of F & D Motors in Shrewsbury as well as a truck driver for Dairy Farms.  He had an appreciation for cars especially corvettes. Francesco is survived by three sons, Francesco X. Lopriore, Jr. and his fiancé Krista McNeil of West Boylston, Gino J. Lopriore and his wife Debbie of Worcester and Vincenzo Lopriore of East Brookfield; two grandsons, Francesco X. Lopriore, III and Maxxamus Lopriore and a third grandchild due in 2018; his longtime companion, Jayne Wells of Plymouth; two sisters, Angela Costa and her husband Michael of Shrewsbury and Libera Spellane and her husband Billy of Holden. A period of calling hours will be held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 4-6 p.m.  with his funeral service at 6 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester.  Burial will be held privately.
