Michael A. Patruno, Jr., 87, of Worcester died peacefully Saturday, August 26, 2017 at home surrounded by his loving family. His wife of 59 wonderful years, Constance A. (Coons) Patruno passed away in 2012. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Shirley Pritchard and her husband Glyn of Fort Lauderdale, and Michele D’Amore of Worcester, Michael also leaves 3 grandchildren, Michael, Justine, and Jenna, and four great grandchildren Dominic, Mason, Alexianna and Dante all whom he adored so very much. Michael also leaves several generations of nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother, Anthony J. Patruno; seven sisters, Angelina Simone, Nellie DiCenzo, Pauline Dell Rosso, Mary Vincequerre, Theresa Evangelista, Yolanda Turturro and Janet Bishop. Michael was born in Worcester son of the late Michael A. Patruno, Sr. and Rosina (DiNardo) Patruno and has lived in Worcester all his life. Mr. Patruno owned and operated his own trucking business, Patruno Inc. He was an avid New England sports fan and particularly enjoyed following the Patriots. Michael never met anyone he didn’t consider a friend and will be remembered by those who knew him as very giving, caring and compassionate man.
