Frank C. Gaskell, Jr. 65, a 34 year resident of Millbury, passed away suddenly Tuesday, August 22nd 2017. Born in Holden and raised in Auburn, Frank was one of four children of Frank C. Gaskell, Sr. and P. Jean (Drury) Gaskell-Cournoyer. He graduated from Auburn High school and worked as a dispatcher for Worcester County Air Freight for almost 40 years. In 1983, Frank married the love of his life, Andrea Roach. They then moved to Millbury where for the past 34 years, they lived a life dedicated to their family. Frank leaves his wife Andrea; three cherished sons: Nicholas R. Gaskell and his wife Abby Canner of Charlestown; Jason C. Gaskell of Dover, NH; Christopher F. Gaskell and his girlfriend Megan Crain of Newton; three sisters, Joyce Anderson of South Carolina, Lynn Sabatalo of Cincinnati, Ohio and Catherine Johnson of Northbridge; beloved brothers and sisters in-law, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Frank was a beautiful person who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life: spending time with family and friends, a good party and barbeque, coaching his sons’ baseball and hockey teams, and New England Sports teams. He truly believed that family and friends were the most important part of life and had room in his heart for everyone he met. Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Sunday, August 27, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Frank’s funeral mass will be held Monday, August 28th at 11:00 am in St Brigid’s Church, 59 Main St Millbury with burial to follow at St Brigid’s Cemetery.
