Michaelene C. Parmenter

MICHAELENE C. PARMENTER 12/15/42 to 8/11/17   Michaelene C. (Gingerelli) Parmenter, 74 of Worcester, MA passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 in Morrisville, North Carolina.  Her husband and love of her life, Albert G. Parmenter predeceased her in 1991.  She is the daughter of the late James and Christine (Garvey) Gingerelli.   Michaelene, known to many as “Mikie” or “Cookie” is survived by her brother James D. Gingerelli of Worcester, MA, her sister, Mary Ellen Budzyna of Morrisville, NC with whom she lived; two sons, Michael A. Parmenter and his wife, Michelle Parmenter of Oxford, MA; Peter J. Parmenter and his wife, Teresa of Worcester, MA.  Five grandchildren, Stephanie, Jake, Karlie, Gina and Zak.   Michaelene graduated from Commerce High School and worked at Allegro Micro Systems for 30 years before retiring in 2008.  She grew up and lived in Worcester her entire life until moving to North Carolina 2014.  She loved to read, watch her grandchildren play sports, watch her “shows” Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune and of course loved her trips to the casino.   There are calling hours.  A Funeral Mass in celebration of her life, will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Loreto, 33 Massasoit Road, Worcester, MA, please go directly to the church.  Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.    Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, is honored to be assisting the Parmenter family.
