Priscilla R. (Stetson) O’Connor, 85, of Boylston, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at Saint Camillus Healthcare in Whitinsville. Her husband Hugh R. O’Connor, predeceased her in 1997. Priscilla is survived by three sons, Paul A. O’Connor and his wife Linda of Boylston, David B. O’Connor and his wife Karyn of Grafton, and Roy R. O’Connor and his wife Beverly of East Douglas; six grandchildren, Luke, Jake, Chelsey, Stephanie, Sean, and Devin; three great grandchildren, Nikita, Cole, and Calli; and her companion Gerald Mallett. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Ralph W. and Leona M. (Twilcott) Stetson. She graduated from Worcester North High School and then from Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing. Priscilla worked as a nurse at Boston Floating Hospital, Hahnemann Hospital in Worcester, finishing her career in Nursing at Dr. Shelby’s office in Shrewsbury. Following her career in nursing, she worked at Sprague Electric for twenty-one years, while also working at the Boylston Public Library. Following her retirement she remained at the library as a volunteer and loved to go line dancing. She was dedicated to her family and worked hard for many years to enrich their lives. Priscilla’s family will gather with family and friends at Calling Hours on Sunday, August 13, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be on Monday, August 14, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment beside her husband, will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston.
