Ragnar F. Petursson, III

Ragnar F. Petursson, III, 41 of Worcester, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017 at Saint Vincent Hospital.   Ragnar is survived by his four siblings, Tracy A. Petursson and her fiancé Marc Bourgault, of Worcester, Elizabeth K. Daneshmand and her husband Afshin of Worcester, Paul S. Petursson of Worcester, and Michael J. Petursson and his wife Heather of East Brookfield; his girlfriend of many years, Mary Castillo of Worcester; eight nieces and nephews, Paige Petursson, Hayden Petursson, Elizabeth Petursson, James Petursson, Kassandra Bourgault, Joseph Daneshmand, Meg Petursson, and Paul Petursson, Jr.    Ragnar was born in Worcester, son of the late Ragnar F. and Pauline K. (Eldridge) Petursson, and has lived here all his life.  He is an alum of Doherty High School and has been working as a fork lift operator for Polar Beverages in Worcester for twenty-one years.   There are no calling hours.   Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, Worcester, is assisting the Petursson family.
