Julia A. (DiRoberto) Lombardi, 91, of Worcester died peacefully on Tuesday August 1, 2017 in the Christopher House. Her husband of 50 Years Philip A. Lombardi died in 1997.Julia is survived by her loving family; her sons Atty Robert P. Lombardi and his wife Dolores of Worcester, Larry P. Lombardi and his wife Susan of West Boylston, her daughter Jean Lombardi-Herbst and her husband Joseph of Bonita Springs, Florida. Julia was the proud grandmother to, Michael, Philip, Robert, Jillian, Kevin and Karen, and also leaves a great granddaughter Renee Meurth of Fort Myers Florida. She also leaves her brother George DiRoberto and his wife Joan of Worcester, and her sister Rosemarie Mattero of Shrewsbury, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Leo and Vincent DiRoberto, and a sister Lena Ayik. Julia was born in Worcester daughter of the late Cesare and Rosa (Pellegrino) DiRoberto and lived here all her life. Julia loved her work at the coffee shop at the Memorial Hospital where she worked for 25 years before she retired at age 80. She also worked at the Worcester Toy Company and was a Hostess at the ITAM Club. Julia loved going to work! She enjoyed the interaction with people and helping them whenever she could. She enjoyed baking and was most happy when she was with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Julia was a long time member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann.
