Mary (DiLiddo) Liseno, 95 of Worcester passed away peacefully Thursday, July 27, 2017, after a brief period of declining health, joining in heaven her husband Vincent who passed away in 1998 and her oldest son, Nicholas Liseno who passed away in an auto accident in 1966. Mary was born on April 18, 1922, one of seven children of Nicola and Adelina (Grampietro) DiLiddo. She graduated from Commerce High School, married her love Vincent Liseno and began a life together in love and devotion raising their family until 1998 when Vincent passed away. Mary continued to live independent in her home until recently. Mary worked as an electrologist in her own home for many years, previously doing the same job with her two sisters at Camico’s Hair Salon. Mary is survived by her dedicated son, Richard “Ricky” Liseno and his wife Donna who she considered a daughter; her granddaughter, Jennifer Fenuccio and grand dog Hazel. Mary also, leaves two sisters, Rose Damico and Jeanne Campanale and a brother, Lenny DiLiddo; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to her husband, son and parents, three brothers Leo, Larry and Gruzzy DiLiddo pre deceased her. Mary enjoyed sewing, cooking, exercise class, dancing and shopping at the Dollar Store. Funeral services for Mary will be held Tuesday, August 1st at 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial next to her husband and son will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 1st from 9:30 am to the start of the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis Tenn. Rick and Donna would like to thank, Dr. June Blanco, Diane Protano, the 1st floor staff and all the providers at the Beaumont Rehabilitation Center in Worcester, as well as Jenn and her team from Ascend Hospice for the care, compassion, and comfort they gave to Mary during a difficult time.
