Christie Goodspeed Pierce

Christie Goodspeed Pierce, 67 of Worcester passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 15th 2017 at home. Christie is survived by a brother, Stephen M. Pierce and his wife Karin of Ashland Wisconson; nephews and nieces, Thomas Dexter, Kristina Seldal and Holly Pierce; Many extended family members and friends in the Worcester area.   A sister, Linda Dexter and niece, Katherine Ann “Kady” Dexter pre deceased her.    Her parents were Dr. Charles W. and Eloise V. (Vail) Pierce. Christie worked as a sales Representative for various Optical Company most notably CSI, before retiring.   Christie enjoyed being around water, bocce,  cats, horses, classical music and spending time with friends.  A gathering of friends will be held Monday, July 31st from  4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St.  Funeral services and burial will be held privately.   In lieu of flowers remembrances in her name can be made to the Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street Worcester.
