Demetrius “TC” Jones, 46 of Webster, previously of Worcester, a fun loving motorcycle enthusiast, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2017, from injuries suffered when he was struck by a car while riding his motorcycle. Demetrius was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 25, 1971, one of three sons of Willie Jones and Loudean (Latham) Jones. He grew up in Chicago, IL, and his formative years with his maternal grandparents, uncles and aunts in Carrollton, Alabama and moved to Worcester as a young man. He married his devoted wife Gwendolyn Frederick on August 13, 2009. They lived in Worcester until 2015 when they moved to Webster, MA. A gifted mechanic, TC owned and operated TC's Mobile Auto Repair. TC is survived by his devoted wife, Gwendolyn, his parents Willie and Loudean (Latham) Jones of Chicago; and two brothers: Casey Jones of Round Road, Tx and Hank Jones of Chicago, IL., three children, Demetrius Jones, Jr. of Chicago, IL., Shanquita Spencer (Alan) of Tuscaloosa, AL and London Jones of Woodstock, Ga; stepchildren, Jarrel Cushinberry (Yaritza) of Spencer, MA, Gregory Weatherspoon of Gardner, MA. (Ameena) of Worcester, MA, Nathan, Maurice, and Nene Miller; Tia, Lele and Zakie Benjamin all of Worcester; fourteen grandchildren, his mother-in-law Ursula Frederick and sister-in-law Manuela Frederick of Worcester, MA. He also left many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends. His maternal grandparents, Lula and Andrew Pruitt and Oscar Latham and paternal Willie B. Jones and Gwen Jones all predeceased him. TC was one of the founders of the Seven R Hills. He loved fishing, collecting and restoring cars. He could repair anything mechanical. He loved his family, spending time with Gwen, his children and especially his grandchildren. No one was a stranger to TC; he would give his last dollar or a helping hand to anyone in need. He always had a smile that would light up a room when he entered. His happiest times were helping others, especially children and those less fortunate. He will be truly missed. Friends and relatives are invited to a period of calling hours, Sunday, July 30th from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, MA a private funeral and burial will be held on Monday at Mt Zion Cemetery, Webster, MA at 11 a.m.
