Robert Joseph "Bobby" Kniskern, Sr.

Robert Joseph “Bobby” Kniskern, Sr., of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.  He was 35 years young. Bobby was born in Worcester where he graduated from Worcester Vocational High School, Class of 2000. He worked alongside his family including his father and brothers for their family business, B.K & Sons Asphalt and Paving Company.  Bobby loved being with his family, whether it was working with them or honoring the family tradition of vacationing in Green Harbor and Old Orchard Beach every year.  Growing up he enjoyed many adventures, led by his Uncle David and Uncle John, with his brothers and cousins. He was a great father, son and brother who will be remembered for his strong work ethic and great sense of humor. Bobby sadly leaves behind the family he loved so much, his two sons, Robert Joseph “RJ” Kniskern, Jr. and Mason Roger Kniskern and their mother, Melissa A. (Anderson) Kniskern all of Worcester; his fiancé, Gabriella M. Pimentel of Worcester; his parents, Robert F. “BK" Kniskern, Jr. and his wife Kim of Holden and Sheila (Quinn) Kniskern and her significant other, John Cross of Worcester; his daughter, Isabella Kniskern of Millbury; three brothers, Brian Kniskern, Joseph Kniskern and his fiancé Kelly Hernandez all of Worcester and Michael Kniskern and his wife Kori of Barre; five step-sisters, Tania Cross of NY, Julia, Olivia and Michaela Cross and Erikka Duval all of Worcester; three nephews, Teddy, Brian and Levi; two nieces, Kylee and Luna; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Services for Bobby will be held on Saturday, July 22nd from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 am in St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St., Worcester.  Burial will be held privately.  Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family and say their final farewell to Bobby on Friday, July 21st from 4-8 pm in the funeral home.
