Paula (Mros) Corio, 71, of West Boylston and Harwich, passed away in her home on Thursday morning, June 29, 2017. Her loving husband of thirty-eight years, Frank J. Corio, predeceased her in January 2014. Paula was born in Pawtucket, RI, daughter of the late, Felix and Ann Mros. She graduated from the University of Maine. She shared her knowledge with high schoolers for thirty-four years as a Home Economics teacher at Tahanto Regional High School. She loved to travel, collect antiques and she enjoyed the beaches and ocean views at Cape Cod and Barbados. Although the beach gave her peace, she loved her times among the bright lights and energy of Las Vegas and at her time share at Disney. Paula was predeceased by her sister, Carol Rushing and by her brother, Daniel Mros. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, including, Pamela Simoneau and her husband Michael of Lincoln, RI, Thomas Rushing and his wife Kelly also of Lincoln, Jennifer Gosselin and her husband Jeff of Paxton, Amberlee Simoneau, Stephanie McGettigan, Noah Rushing, and Tenley Gosselin. Services for Paula will be held on Monday, July 3. Calling Hours will be from 9:15 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Followed by a procession departing for an 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at Our Lady Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Entombment will follow at Saint John’s Mausoleum.
