Pasquale “Patsy” W. Loconto, 94, of Worcester, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Holy Trinity Nursing and Rehabilitation. His beloved wife, Joyce R. (Amberg) Loconto, predeceased him in 1999. Pasquale is survived by three children, David Ferrara of Clinton, Mark Ferrara of Texas, and Karen Ferrara and her spouse Noreen of Worcester; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Raymond Ferrara in 1985. Pasquale also had three siblings that predeceased him, Josephine Roy, Michael and Angelo Loconto. He was born in Worcester, son of the late, Paul and Savaria (Riccio) Loconto. He served his nation proudly in the United States Army, during World War II, in the European, African, Middle Eastern Theatre. Pasquale retired in 1999 from Laidlaw Bus in Shrewsbury, where he drove school bus for many years after his retirement, in 1980, from the Traffic Division of the Massachusetts Department of Public Works, District 3. He was a member of Saint Anne’s Church in Shrewsbury, the Italian American Veterans Post 3, and the State Employee Retirement Association. Pasquale’s family would like to extend a warm thanks to all of the wonderful “angels” at Holy Trinity. Their care and compassion to Pasquale and his family will be remember for years to come. A Funeral Mass for Pasquale will be held on Monday, July 3, at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Anne’s Church, 130 Boston Turnpike Road (Route 9 East), Shrewsbury. Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. There are no calling hours.
