Lillian M. (Grandone) Collinino, 98, of Worcester died peacefully Saturday June 24, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital. Her Husband Victor Collinino died in 1990. Lillian leaves a son Victor M. Collinino and his wife Patricia of Stratham New Hampshire, a brother Michael Grandone and his wife Sandra of Worcester, and several nephews and nieces. Lillian was predeceased by her three sisters, Jeanette Rocco, Eleanor D’Errico, and Mildred Faford. Lillian was born in Worcester daughter of the late Michael and Bertha (Raboin) Grandone and lived here all her life. Lillian was a sales clerk at the former Building 19 at South Plaza for many years before she retired. She was working there right up to age 92 and loved her job. Lillian had a great personality and would make friends no matter where she went. She loved talking to people. Lillian enjoyed volunteering and worked on several local political campaigns. She liked to read, knit, travel, and really enjoyed trips to Cape Cod. Lillian was a former member of the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann, and also attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Lillian was a personable lady who will be missed by her family and friends. Lillian’s funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening from 4PM to7PM in the funeral home. Interment with her husband Victor will be in Notre Dame Cemetery and will be family only.
