Helen G. (Kingston) Ascrizzi, 87, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017 in the Golden Living Center – the Hermitage. Her husband of 30 years, Concesso Ascrizzi passed away on December 7, 1998. Helen was born in Shohola, Pennsylvania to the late Dewey B. and Helen M. (Mertz) Kingston on June 20, 1929. Helen was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for many years. She is survived by her two sons, Anthony Ascrizzi of New Underwood, South Dakota and Richard Ascrizzi of Worcester; her three stepchildren, Frank Ascrizzi, Anne Meldon and Linda M. Daley-Stevenson; a sister, Betty Kingston of Worcester and her five grandchildren, Shannon, Laurie, Mark, Mellissa and Michelle. She is preceded in death by her two brothers, Dewey Kingston, Jr. and James Kingston and her sister, Alice Potel. Funeral services are being held privately and are under the direction of MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, Worcester.
