Toby (Noar) Richmond

WORCESTER — TOBY (NOAR) RICHMOND — 74 TOBY (Noar) Richmond,74, died on June 18, 2017 at Brigham and Women's Hospital with her loving family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer. She leaves her loving husband of 53 years, Charles "Chuck" Richmond, her beloved son Eric and his wife Maria, her devoted daughter Sue Levy and her husband Farron, and her cherished grandchildren, Connor, Caitlyn, Harrison, Ayala, Sabina and Ellery. She was predeceased by her brothers Myron "Mike" and Bernard "Bucky" Noar and her sister Harriet Gruber. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Abraham and Annie L. (Kugle) Noar. She was a graduate of Classical High School's class of 1960, and graduated from Becker Jr. College with an Associates degree in Accounting.  She was Chief Financial Officer at Martin Tire, which she co-owned with her husband Chuck. She was a member of Congregation Beth Israel Synagogue, current President of the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts, a life member of Hadassah, past President of the Jewish Healthcare Center, and past President of the Ladies Auxillary of the Jewish Healthcare Center. She was a former member of the board of directors of the Jewish Healthcare Center, Temple Sinai and Jewish Family Services.  She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM at Congregation Beth Israel on Thursday, June 22, with immediate interment in B'Nai Brith Cemetery. Memorial observance will be announced. Memorial contributions in her cherished memory may be made to the Jewish Federation of Central Massachusetts, 633 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
