Louise M. (Liseno) Rodwill, 72, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Saint Vincent Hospital. Louise is survived by her four children, Joseph J. Rodwill and his wife Kelly of Worcester; three daughters, Lisa M. Chapdelaine and her husband Bill of Auburn, Karen L. Solomon and her husband Kurt of Worcester, and Becky-Ann Bradley and her husband Frank of Newton, NH; the love of her life, Lawrence “Larry” Haire; her former husband and father of her children, Wayne Rodwill; eleven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Joseph and Theresa (Troiano) Liseno, and has lived here most of her life. Louise retired from Boy Scouts of America, where she worked as a bookkeeper for several years. She had been a Worcester Auxiliary Police Officer, EMT, and a hotline coordinator for Ad-Care Hospital. She was always trying to make the day brighter for people; she coordinated many golf tournaments and other fundraising events for Police departments and senior citizen organizations. She loved tending to her garden and spending loving times with her grandchildren. Louise had an affinity for cats, and would go out of her way to make sure that strays were cared for as well as those with loving homes. Calling Hours for Louise will be held on Monday, June 12, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral will be held from the funeral home, departing in procession at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. Mass at Saint Peter’s Church, 931 Main Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Carmuh Cat Rescue of Marlborough and Hudson, 16 Abigail Drive, Hudson, MA 01749.
