Junior N. Beltre, 28 of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on April 22, 2017. Junior was born in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. At the age of 8, Junior and his family settled in Worcester where he graduated from South High School and later attended Quinsigamond Community College for a brief period. Junior worked as a manager at Integral Resources for 5 years. Junior enjoyed cooking, listening to Motown, singing, and rapping. He wrote his own songs, made music with his brother and truly enjoyed every minute of it. Junior was known as “Big Osious the Don”. Besides his interests he was a family man. He loved his sons and spending all of his time with them. Junior had the biggest heart with the biggest sense of humor. He loved to make you laugh and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Junior will always be known as a king, he was devoted, hilarious and most of all loving to all. He was a big man with a big laugh and an even bigger heart. Junior was a best friend , brother, son, and partner who is survived by his two sons, Nazir Junior Beltre and Zion Vasquez; his girlfriend of 6 years, Shazedi M. Molina; his mother and step-father, Claribel (Beltre) and James McLaughlin; two brothers, his twin Nicolas J. Beltre and Jose M. Valentin, III; his niece and nephew, Amalia and Emilio Beltre all of Worcester; his step-father, Jose Valentin, Jr. of Leominster; his maternal grandfather, Nicolas Beltre of D.R.; four aunts, Maribel Beltre of Worcester, Maria Beltre of Webster, Yafrecy Beltre of Worcester and Rosanna Beltre of Washington, DC; three uncles, Radhames Beltre of Worcester, Emmanuel Beltre of Washington, DC and Edwar Beltre of DR; many siblings, cousins and friends. Services for Junior will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 am in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Sunday, April 30th from 3-7 pm in the funeral home.
