Alan Lizotte

April 29, 1961 — April 16, 2017

It is with deep regret to announce that our brother, uncle and friend Alan has lost his battle with liver cancer. Alan was born in Worcester on April 29, 1961, and raised in Millbury where he attended Millbury Memorial High School. Alan worked for eight years at Bay State Sterling as a machine operator and as a transportation engineer at Deck’s Plus in Westborough for twenty years. Alan has no children but was a friend to all. He is loved by his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. Alan is most known for his kind hearted and compassionate personality, as well as his love for nature, animals and of course his family and friends. He leaves two sisters: Donna May Castonguay of Port Richey, FL, and Rebecca Lizotte of Whitinsville; four brothers: Richard Lizotte of Worcester, John Lizotte of Whitinsville, Timothy Lizotte, and Daniel Lizotte, both of Millbury; and nephews and nieces. In addition to his parents, Harry A. and Helen M. (Underwood) Lizotte, he was predeceased by a sister, Cynthia Patenaude, and six brothers: Mark Lizotte, Harry “Skip” Lizotte, Thomas Lizotte, David Lizotte, Michael Lizotte and Francis Lizotte. A Graveside Funeral Service for Alan, and his brother, David, who was cremated in 2011, will be held on Monday, April 24th at 11:30am in Saint John’s Cemetery, Worcester.
