Jeannine M. Oslowski

d. March 27, 2017

Jeannine M. (Auger) Oslowski, 81, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2017, surrounded by her loving family and in the comfort of her home.  Her husband, Joseph Oslowski, predeceased her in February, 2011. Jeannine is survived by a son, Michael A. Oslowski of Worcester; two daughters, Lynda J. Brindisi and her husband Robert, with whom she resided, and Lisa J. Oslowski and her wife Lynne R. Travers of Worcester.  Jeannine was predeceased by a daughter, Laurie J. Oslowski in November 2011.  She is also survived by a sister, Connie A. Nordstrom and her husband Walter “Skip” Nordstrom of Worcester; twelve grandchildren, Michelle, Nicholas and his spouse John, Anthony and his spouse Jason, Ericka, Ashley D., Donna, Ashley S., Kayla, Danielle, Casey, Michael, Jr., and Jack; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, including Sharon Lawson, who was an integral part of her caregiving team, and Debbie Covello.  She was predeceased by a brother and a sister, Armand Auger, Jr., and Jackie Bertel. Jeannine was born in Worcester, daughter of the late, Armand and Appolline (Demers) Auger, and lived there all her life.  She worked many jobs, but found great happiness when she was helping others as a Nurse’s Aide at Heywood Valley Nursing Home, Saint Francis Nursing Home and also private duty.  She had previously worked as a machine operator for Brown Shoe, Parker Metals, and Wachusett Molding.  Jeannine loved a good time and socializing was one of her specialties, when not getting in to mischievous fun.  She loved her family, animals and birds.  In recent years, when she wasn’t enjoying family time, she was with her family of friends at the Living Well Day Program, where she could socialize with friends, play cards, and have a good time. The family would like to extend a special “thank you” to the great people at Living Well Day Program.  They became not only great friends with Jeannine but also a second family.  Their care and kindness is appreciated. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 10am to 1pm at the American Legion Post 204, 159 Hartwell St., West Boylston, MA 01583
