Lillian C. (Merola) Bolduc, 97 of Worcester, formerly of Coburn Ave., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center surrounded by her family. Lillian was born in Worcester, a daughter to the late Nicola and Lucia (Pomponio) Merola where she was a graduate of Commerce High School and has been a lifelong resident. Lillian worked in the office for Charron & Son Piano and Furniture Company for many years retiring in 1948. She also worked for Chaflin-Sumner Coal Company. Lillian was a faithful member of the former Saint Margaret Mary’s Church where she was a member of the churches senior citizens. After the churches closing she became a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and their Golden Years Club. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters; loved to sing and dance. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved spending time with her family especially all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lillian’s husband of 51 years, Edmund J. Bolduc passed away in 1997. She is survived by two daughters, Carol A. Lambert and her husband George of Deltona, FL and Arlene Dell’Ovo and her husband Aldo of Shrewsbury; three grandsons, Paul Dell’Ovo, Michael Dell’Ovo and his wife Jaime and Mark Riccardi; eight great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Marion Merola of East Brookfield; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two brothers, John and Louis Merola and two sisters, Clara G. Merola and Mary Delgreco. Services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd., Worcester. Burial will be held privately. A period of calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 1st from 8:30-10:00 a.m. in the funeral home prior to her departure to church.
