Theresa “Terri” (Migliorelli) Fulginiti, 100, of Worcester died Wednesday, March 22 at the Lutheran Home with her sister by her side. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Andrew and Grace (Lavorante) Migliorelli. Her beloved husband Tony died in 1985. They were married for 37 years. Terri was a graduate of Commerce High. She worked for many years as a secretary and receptionist at Merrill and Usher Co., retiring in 1986. She was a women of great faith, who although had no children of her own, was like a second mother to her nieces and nephews. Her greatest joy was her family. Terri’s door was always open to family and friends who enjoyed stopping by for a visit, gathering around the kitchen table and sharing a meal. Many wonderful holidays were spent at her home with plenty of home-cooked Italian food, love, laughter and great fun. Terri is survived by her sister and best friend Alice Soloperto, with whom she lived for the past seven years. In addition to Alice, she leaves nephews and nieces: Thomas Migliorelli and his wife Suzanne of Holden; Nancy White of Shrewsbury; Marcia Kennedy and her husband James of Shrewsbury; and Paul Migliorelli of Worcester. She also leaves great-nieces and great-nephews: Kara Seiler and her husband Scott of New York City; Matthew Migliorelli, his wife Leila and sons Colin and Nathan of Melrose; Jessica Clement, her husband Dustin and daughter Anna of Ashland; and Jacqueline Kennedy and Myles Kennedy of Shrewsbury. She also leaves behind a loving friend and sister-in-law Grace Fulginiti of Shrewsbury; a dear nephew Joseph Fulginiti of Falmouth; Marie DelSesto and husband Robert of West Chesterfield, NH; and other nieces, nephews , and friends. She was preceded in death by brothers Emilio and Albert. Theresa was a long time member of the Church of Our Lady of Loreto. The family would like to thank Elizabeth, Adam, Sasha, Maria, Cheryl, Dawn and Brenda for the care and love they provided, making it possible for our beloved Terri to live comfortably in her own home. A special thanks to Deacon Paul Audette, Sr. Muriel Audette, the VNA, Elder Services, IHC, Notre Dame Hospice, especially Mo her hospice nurse, the health care professionals from UMass Geriatrics and the wonderful staff of the Lutheran Home where she spent her final days. A calling hour will be from 9:30 AM to 10:45AM Saturday March 25, in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester, followed by Mass OF Christian burial at 11:30AM in the Church of Our Lady of Loreto 33 Massasoit Rd. Entombment with her beloved husband Tony will be in St. John's Mausoleum, Worcester.
