Edward A. Carrion, loving and beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital. He was 61 years young and was surrounded at the end by his adoring family he loved so much.Eddie was born on September 25, 1955 in Bronx, New York and was preceded in death by his father Ramon Carrion and his mother, Aida Torres. He was a graduate of Doherty Memorial High School. Eddie is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Margie (Carrero) Carrion; two sons, Jonathan E. Carrion of Worcester and Jared E. Carrion of Auburn; a daughter, Bryanna M. Carrion and her fiancé Matthew Belculfine of Worcester; three brothers, Raymond Carrion of Florida, Joseph Vasquez of Worcester, Felix Ramos and his wife Teresa of North Brookfield; two sisters, Wanda Kacavich and her husband Andrew of Thompson, CT; Diane Ramos-Gray and her husband Donald of Hubbardston; two grandchildren Elijah and Juilianna and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a brother George Carrion who died in 1986.Eddie was working as a chauffeur for several Limousine Companies. He also worked for New England Cryogenic Center and for Benoit Language Services for over five years. He loved his job as being an Interpreter and remained a loyal employee until the end. Eddie was a devoted family man, and loved his family tremendously. Eddie was just a phone call away for anyone that needed him. He will be tremendously missed by all who knew him.Funeral services for Eddie will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017, at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Rev. Lillian Santana will officiate.
