Theodora G. Budo

Theodora G. Budo, 79, died peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Holy Trinity Nursing Home, Worcester after a long illness. She is survived by her sister, Katherine L. Boria of Paxton; her nieces, Carolyn A. Boria, Joan M. Boria and Roberta E. Boria, all of Paxton, Julie L. Pando of Watertown; and her nephew, Robert M. Pando of Watertown. She was predeceased by her parents, George S. and Margarita (Saradaris) Budo and her sister, Helen A. Pando. A lifelong resident of Worcester, Theodora graduated from Commerce-High School. She had a penchant for mathematics and enjoyed her early career as a computer programmer for Astra Pharmaceuticals. Theodora will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family as a devoted sister and aunt, always gentle and kind. She enjoyed gardening, visiting Cape Cod, celebrating holidays with her family and caring for animals. She had a particular fondness for American jazz music and Colonial American history. She was a member of St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church. Her family would like to express their gratitude to the extraordinary staff at Holy Trinity Nursing Home who cared for "Teddy'' as a they would a member of their own family. To their credit, Theodora happily referred to Holy Trinity as her home. There are no calling hours and private funeral arrangements are under the direction of Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
