Linda A. (Hamm) Diaz

Linda A. (Hamm) Diaz, 61, of Worcester died peacefully Friday March 10, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Her husband Andres Diaz predeceased her.  Linda is survived by her Mother Joan L. (Latendress) Hamm, of Worcester, two daughters Angela L. Diaz, and Melissa A. Perez both of Worcester,and her brother Anthony Marconi and his wife Lisa of Kansas. Linda also leaves her grandchildren Amaya and John Thompson, and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and her feline friend Hanna. Linda was born in Worcester daughter of the late Robert H, Hamm, and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Burncoat High School. Linda worked many years as a cashier at the Big Y Supermarket and also at several Dunkin Donuts in the city. She attended the Church of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann. Linda loved all animals especially cats and enjoyed going to the beach. Calling hours will be held on Monday March 13, from 4PM to 6Pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. A prayer service will conclude the calling hours at 6PM.
