John Joseph Cicero

John J. Cicero, 63 of Worcester passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at his home on Saturday, February 25, 2017. John was born on January 31, 1954 in Worcester, a son of Giacomo “Jack” C. Cicero and Pauline Awad. John was raised in Worcester, attended North High School and was a lifelong member of Mount Carmel Church. John worked as a service technician for Eversource Natural Gas Company for over thirty years up until he passed away. John was a caring and generous man who never hesitated to help someone in need. He was a big man with an even larger heart. John loved working out at the Gym and spending time at the beach. John had a passion for cars, especially his Cobra Mustang, which he was very proud of. John was a larger than life character, who was loved by all who knew him because of his warm personality and genuine good nature. John’s passing leaves a great sadness among those that loved him. Amongst his many survivors John leaves his three sons, Jamie P. Cicero, Ryan A. Cicero and Corey G. Cicero all of Worcester; his beloved daughter, Nicole M. Cicero of Worcester; two brothers, Carl Cicero and Paul Cicero; three grandchildren, Michael P. Cicero, John R. Cicero and Chase A. Cicero and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, John was also predeceased by his brother, Mark S. Cicero. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for John at 11:00 am on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 130 Massasoit Rd, Worcester, MA; followed by a funeral procession to Hope Cemetery for final committal services. There will be no calling hours.
