Linda White Peterson

Linda White Peterson, 62, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly and peacefully on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at her home. Linda was born on August 20, 1954 in Worcester, the only daughter of Chester and Corinne Peterson. Linda graduated from Bancroft School and went on to study at Skidmore College in Saratoga, NY. Upon completion of her studies at Skidmore, Linda returned to Worcester and studied nursing at Hahnemann Nursing School, where she worked until it merged with UMass Memorial Hospital. Linda continued working for Memorial Hospital until she suffered a Brain Aneurysm eighteen years ago. Although Linda could not return to work after her accident, she persevered through many adversities during her recovery and never lost her illuminating smile or her determination to succeed. Her courage and strength were inspirational to those who knew her. Linda leaves behind her devoted partner of over twenty years, Gerald R. Wise. In addition to her parents Linda was predeceased by her brother, Lee Peterson. There are no services planned for Linda.
