Terrence Scott McCann died suddenly of natural causes in his home on January 31,2017. Terrence leaves behind three sisters Linda Belliveau and her spouse Maureen Asten of San Jose, CA., Carole McCann-Gaboury and her spouse John Gaboury of Worcester, and his twin sister Lisa McCann-Souza of Seminole, FL. He also left behind one niece Jacquelyn Gaboury of MA and two nephews Matthew and Michael Souza of FL. Terry also leaves behind his beloved pets Chip, Chili and Chance. Terry was a graduate of Shrewsbury High School and Quinsigamond Community College. He worked as a respiratory therapist for 20 plus years at various hospitals in Central Massachusetts, most recently at U-Mass Medical Center. Terry was charismatic with a contagious smile. He was a devoted son and spent most of his spare time caring for his parents, prior to their passing. All who knew him loved him. He was a kind and generous person, who always found the humor in things and loved to laugh. Terry loved sports, music and animals. He enjoyed playing in his band “Nuzzy”, weightlifting and recently began volunteering his time to coach basketball with children from Great Brook Valley. Terry will be forever remembered in the hearts of his friends and family. Calling Hours for Terry will be on Monday, February 6, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a service at 7:00 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
