Michael R Pugliese

Michael R. Pugliese, 33 of West Boylston passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 31st 2017 in his sleep. Michael the oldest son of June (Tainter) Pugliese and the late Raymond B. Pugliese, Jr. was born in Worcester, graduated from Assabet Valley Vocational Tech where he earned his certificate in technology and afterwards went to NEIT.   He then accepted a position as a service technician for Polytec Inc. where he has worked for the past 12 years.    Michael grew up in Shrewsbury and lived for a while in Florida before moving to West Boylston in 1989.  Michael is survived by his devoted mother with whom he lived; his brother, Nicholas Pugliese; his maternal grandmother, Ardeth Tainter and paternal stepmother Eleanor Pugliese; Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.    Besides his father Raymond, Michael’s maternal grandfather, Robert Tainter, Paternal Grandfather Raymond Pugliese Sr. and Aunt Gail Popillo all pre deceased him.   Michael, a dedicated son, enjoyed flying model helicopters, the outdoors, four wheeling and camping in his earlier days.  Gifted in technical abilities, Michael loved electronics, scientific understanding and video games.  Family in Michael’s life was most important.  Special occasions, holidays and family gatherings made him  happiest. His sense of humor and smile would light up any room he entered. A beautiful heart that will be greatly missed.Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours, Tuesday, February 7th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm in the Freedom Worship Church, 141 West Boylston St. West Boylston. His funeral service will follow at 6:00 pm. Burial in Mt Vernon Cemetery will be held Wednesday. In lieu of flowers remembrances in his name can be made to the Crossing Over Inc., 44 Mt Vernon St, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
