Deborah E. (O’Connor) Grosse, 62, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday January 6, 2017. Debbie leaves her loving husband and best friend, John J. Grosse, with whom she shared 37 years of marriage. She is also survived by a brother, Bill O’Connor and his wife Kate of Worcester; a sister-in-law, Jane Grosse Fiumara wife of the late Fred Fiumara of Rockport, many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Debbie was pre-deceased by her parents Bill and Elaine (Lodowsky) O’Connor, her mother-in-law, Antoinette “Toni” Grosse, and recently by a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Hank and Eileen Grosse of Shrewsbury. Together John and Debbie shared a long career in the restaurant business. They started, owned and managed several popular restaurants, including the East Park Grill on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester. Family was so important to Debbie, she treated many of her nieces, nephews and cousins as if they were her own children. She loved the beach and some of her favorite times were spent enjoying Nantucket, Marblehead and Rockport with family and friends.
