Rose (Marinello) Lawson

Rose (Marinello) Lawson, 86, of Worcester passed away peacefully with family gathered by her side Saturday,  January 14th 2017. Rose is survived by her two daughters,  Dianne Pedone of Oxford and Sharon Pikiel of Worcester; a sister Linda Adams; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews  and extended family members.   A daughter, Cindy Lawson passed away in 2001. Two brothers Anthony and Natale Marinello and a sister Virginia Goyette pre deceased her.  She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Italian immigrants Raffaello and Mary (Schiavone) Marinello.  She graduated from David Hale Fanning Trade school class of 1948 and has lived here all her life.   Rose worked as a School Crossing Guard for the City of Worcester before retiring.  She was a member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and St Bernard’s Church. Funeral services are Private.  Memorial contributions in her name can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of greater New England, 101A 1st Ave, Waltham, MA 02451.  The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St is honored to assist the family with services
